Hand-built widebody in amethyst metallic

Custom built by Porsche Owings mills for the 2025 Porsche classic restoration challenge, this 996. One generation 911 Carrera coupe was transformed into a hand-crafted widebody tribute that blends Porsche heritage, motorsport aggression, and modern mechanical upgrades.

Originally a rear-wheel-drive Carrera, this 996 was widened over an inch per side by hand without replacement metal panels. The result is a muscular, factory-inspired widebody stance that looks as if Stuttgart intended it from the beginning.

Finished in amethyst metallic with Neo-dyme gold side stripes, the color combination is bold, rare, and unmistakably Porsche.
